It is part of a set (rest of the set also available for purchase) that contain a couple of cards with the following written on them:
"Kashmir Boxes
A Decorators and Collectors Delight
This box was completely hand made and intricately painted by the Artisans of Kashmir. Many layers of laquer are hand rubbed to give the box a protective finish. Centuries of inherited skills are evidently in the beautifully balanced design and colours."
At the bottom of the item there is a signature for Muzafar Kashmir a sticker stating "Made in India" and another stating "Hand Painted with 22 K Gold Leaf".
Item Condition:
Gently used item in great condition. It's colors are bright.
